Algorithm Security from the Perspective of a Holistic Approach to National Security and Its Risk Management
摘要
Abstract
[Research purpose]The prominence of national security attributes of algorithms has made algorithm security an inevitable prac-tical issue in national security construction.Exploring algorithm security and its risk management can provide theoretical references for dealing with algorithm security risks and improving national security resilience effectively.[Research method]Through theoretical analy-sis,case studies,and inductive deduction methods,the paper summarizes the algorithm security risks and their causes,and discusses the challenge of algorithm security risk to national security and its governance paths.[Research result/conclusion]From the perspective of the holistic approach to national security,algorithm security includes two aspects:the security of the algorithm itself and the security caused by the algorithm operation.The model vulnerabilities of algorithms,changes in the operating environment,the organized algorith-mic attacks and lagging algorithm iterations can lead to algorithmic security risks,endanger national security and digital sovereignty,trig-gering the national ideological security crisis,giving rise to economic and social security risks,and causing widespread security dilemmas between nations.This requires continuous promotion of open source and transformation of algorithms,optimize algorithm models and im-prove algorithm functionality,strengthen institutional and technical supervision of algorithm operation,and build a complete algorithm in-dustry chain,so as to give full play to the technical advantages of algorithms that enable national security.关键词
