Rumors End with the Sage:A Study on Rumor Control Models in the Context of Cognitive Warfare

Abstract
[Research purpose]In the context of cognitive warfare,the rampant spread of rumors has severely threatened public rational cognition and social stability.This study is guided by the goal of enhancing the cognitive abilities of individuals and groups,striving to seize the"first-mover advantage"and achieve the objective of"rumors ending with the sage".[Research method]By summarizing the new characteristics of rumors in the cognitive warfare environment,this study constructs a rumor control model based on the mechanisms of online rumor propagation and the SIR model framework.It introduces cognitive warfare parameters,such as cognitive interference rates and cognitive defense parameters,including resistance vaccines based on common-sense logic and targeted vaccines focusing on addressing specific issues.[Research result/conclusion]The equilibrium points of the model are determined to identify the stability and threshold conditions of rumor propagation.Simulation experiments are conducted to observe the impact of changes in cognitive warfare parameters on rumor spread.The results validate the feasibility of two proactive rumor control methods:"foreseeing before emergence"and"averting danger before it forms".Practical strategies tailored to the newly summarized characteristics are also proposed.关键词
