大数据发展对城市碳减排的影响研究
Impact of Big Data Development on Urban Carbon Emission Reduction

Abstract
With the vigorous development of a new round of technological revolution and industrial transforma-tion,new technologies continue to emerge.Digital technology,as the core of these new technologies,is gradually becoming a new engine for high-quality economic development.Currently,China's economy is transitioning from rapid growth to high-quality development.Accompanied by technological progress and industrial transformation,the development of big data has become crucial in this economic transition.Mining big data plays a significant role in improving urban ecological environments.This paper uses panel data from 268 Chinese cities between 2006 and 2022,employing a difference-in-differences(DID)model to measure the impact of the national big data compre-hensive pilot zone policy on urban carbon emission reduction.The findings indicate that these policies can signifi-cantly reduce urban carbon emission intensity,as evidenced by a series of robustness tests.Mechanism analysis re-veals:(1)National big data comprehensive pilot zone policy enhances carbon emission reduction efficiency through reasonable investment in fixed assets,optimizing capital factors.(2)The policy encourages green technological in-novation in industries,optimizing technical factors,and thereby improving carbon emission reduction efficiency.(3)The policy promotes the participation of workers in green industries,optimizing labor factors,and thus enhan-cing urban carbon emission reduction outcomes.Heterogeneity analysis reveals that the carbon emission reduction effects of the national big data comprehensive pilot zone policy are more pronounced in eastern regions,cities with developed construction industries,large cities,and transportation hub cities.This paper,based on real-world needs,explores new mechanisms for promoting urban carbon emission reduction in the digital economy era.The re-search findings contribute to better leveraging the potential of big data,expanding the scope of national big data comprehensive pilot zones,and achieving policy-driven effects on surrounding cities.It aims to enhance the alloca-tion level of urban resources,considering the heterogeneity of policy outcomes,formulating policies tailored to local conditions,focusing on key areas,and increasing the precision of policy implementation.It seeks to improve the coordination mechanism of carbon emission reduction policies.While formulating and implementing policies for na-tional big data comprehensive pilot zones,corresponding supporting measures should be considered.Through the synergistic effects between policies,this will promote the rapid development of green industries in cities,effectively drive urban low-carbon transformation,and achieve a win-win situation for economic development and environmen-tal protection.关键词
