Voltage Withstand Characteristics of Glass Ceramic Solid-State Pulse Forming Line

Abstract
Glass ceramic solid-state pulse forming lines(PFLs)are promising solid-state energy storage material for high-power pulse systems.To address the limitations of conventional solid-state PFLs,particularly their low breakdown voltage and limited operational lifetime,this study proposes a novel curved-electrode PFL structure utilizing glass-ceramic dielectric.By optimizing the structural parameters of the solid-state pulse forming line,such as the electrode spacing,margin,input point position,and electrode width,the surface electric field on the electrode is reduced,and the insulation strength is improved.A high-voltage withstand,long-term-stable solid-state pulse forming line is developed,with a service life of more than 2 × 106 times at 35 kV voltage,which is more than 1.5 times higher than the existing publicly reported similar solid-state pulse forming lines with a lifetime of 8 × 105 times.This provides technical basis for promoting the compact,modular,and long-term stable operation of high-power pulse drive sources.关键词
