Non-Invasive Flexible Current Probe as A Diagnosis Tool Inside A Chopper Module

Abstract
Conventional non-invasive rigid probes cannot meet the requirements of time-domain reconstruction in industrial modules inside enclosed cavities.A flexible current probe is proposed as a diagnostic tool to extend the non-invasive time-varying current reconstruction technique in industrial PWM chopper modules inside enclosed cavities.The design of the probe combines rigid and flexible materials to optimize stability and adaptability.The flexibility of the probe allows it to be placed flat or attached sideways to the transmission line for non-contact current measurement.In addition,the experimental results show that the transmission coefficient curves measured by the probe is in high agreement with the time-domain curves of the direct current measurement,with an mean relative deviation of 0.63%,and the mean relative deviation of the current reconstruction is as low as 0.24%.The probe shows excellent consistency and stability under different bending conditions,and its non-invasive measurement in industrial PWM chopper modules has an mean relative deviation of only 0.11%,proving its efficiency as a diagnostic tool for current detection.In addition,the probe has been successfully used in constant voltage output modules to accurately identify current changes during load faults.关键词
