摘要

Abstract

To investigate the intra-annual spatial and temporal variations of soil detachment capacity(Dc),this study collected soil samples from different exposure elevations at various times during the 2019 exposure period in the water-level fluctuation zone of the Three Gorges Reservoir.The study measured soil physicochemical properties,plant biomass,and soil detachment capacity(Dc).Pearson correlation analysis,principal component regression(PCR),structural equation modeling(SEM),and partial least squares path modeling(PLS-PM)were used to identify the effects and pathways of soil physical and chemical properties and vegetation biomass on Dc.The results show that:Dc generally decreases over time and shows a trend of first increasing and then decreasing with elevation,reaching its minimum at 165-170 m.Dc is significantly negatively correlated with mean weight diameter(MWD)of water-stable aggregates,organic matter content,above-ground biomass and below-ground biomass,while it is significantly positively correlated with clay content.PCR analysis indicates that the negative contribution to Dc follows the order of MWD>organic matter content>above-ground biomass>below-ground biomass.Above-ground and below-ground biomass,as exogenous variables,exert indirect effects on the key factor MWD by modulating secondary factors(clay content and organic matter content),which further act on Dc.The MWD serves as a core mediator in this pathway and is the primary influencing factor on Dc.This study can provide theoretical basis for soil and water conservation and ecological restoration in water levels zone of the Three Gorges Reservoir area,and has certain guiding significance for disaster prevention and reduction in the Three Gorges Reservoir area.
