Abstract

In order to provide theoretical support for increasing sesame yield per unit area,this study took Yuzhi DW607,Yuzhi DS7921 and Yuzhi 11 as the research objects.From 2022 to 2023,the yield and agronomic traits of three strains under different den-sities(120 000 plants·hm-2,150 000 plants·hm-2,180 000 plants·hm-2 and 210 000 plants·hm-2)were analyzed in Xinyang,and the agronomic traits of growth period,yield and plant height were measured.The results showed that the density had little effect on the growth period of sesame.The growth period of the same variety with different densities in the same year was the same,and the capsule cracking was also the same.With the increase of density,the yield increased first and then decreased.Under the density of 180 000 plants·hm-2 and 210 000 plants·hm-2,the yield was higher,and the yield of Yuzhi 11 was higher.The yield of sesame was signifi-cantly positively correlated with plant height,initial capsule position,length of empty tip,length of main stem rachis,number of cap-sules per plant and yield per plant.Under different densities,there were significant differences in yield-related traits.In summary,when the planting density is 180 000 plants·hm-2 and 210 000 plants·hm-2,the sesame yield reached the maximum.
