Evaluation of Heavy Metal Content and Environmental Effects of Duliujian River

Abstract
In order to investigate the heavy metal pollution in Duliujian River,trace detection instruments such as atomic absorption spectrophotometer and atomic fluorescence spectrophotometer were used to detect and analyze copper,zinc,lead,cadmium,mercury,arsenic and hexavalent chromium in four sites of Duliujian River.The results showed that zinc,lead,arsenic and hexavalent chromium met the Class I water standard in the surface water environmental quality standard,copper and cadmium met the Class II water stan-dard in the surface water environmental quality standard,and mercury met the Class III water standard in the surface water environ-mental quality standard.The concentration range and annual average value of seven heavy metal elements vary with the site and month.The pollution index of each point calculated by single factor evaluation method is pollution-free,but the pollution index of seven heavy metal elements was higher than that of cadmium and mercury.In conclusion,the content of heavy metals in Duliujian River Basin varies with seasons and locations,so it is necessary to adjust measures to local conditions in pollution prevention and control.关键词
