Effects of Spartina alterniflora invasion on the community composition and diversity of soil inorganic phosphate-solubilizing bacteria in Tianjin coastal wetland

Abstract
The invasion of Spartina alterniflora is one of the important ecological issues for the coastal wetlands in China.To ex-plore the effects of S.alterniflora invasion on the soil phosphate-solubilizing bacteria communities in coastal wetlands,the soil samples under different invasion degrees of S.alterniflora were collected from Tianjin coastal wetland.Inorganic phosphorus medium was used to cultivate soil phosphate-solubilizing bacteria,and the differences in community composition and diversity of the inorganic phosphate-solubilizing bacteria in different soil samples were analyzed.The relationships between the composi-tion of bacteria and soil properties were analyzed using redundancy analysis(RDA).The results showed that with the increase of S.alterniflora invasion extent,the quantity of soil inorganic phosphate-solubilizing bacteria in Tianjin coastal wetland signifi-cantly increased;S.alterniflora invasion significantly affected the composition of soil inorganic phosphate-solubilizing bacteria communities.In general,S.alterniflora invasion promoted the diversity of soil inorganic phosphate-solubilizing bacteria com-munities.The results of RDA showed that the soil factors playing important roles in influencing the composition of inorganic phosphate-solubilizing bacteria communities in Tianjin coastal wetland included soil NH4+-N content(explaining 37.30%),NO3--N content(explaining 33.40%),pH value(explaining 31.40%),organic matter content(explaining 29.30%),and avail-able P content(explaining 29.20%).The results of this study illustrated that S.alterniflora invasion would increase the quantity and community diversity of inorganic phosphate-solubilizing bacteria in coastal wetlands,thereby promoting the phosphorus cycling processes,which potentially further facilitate S.alterniflora invasion.关键词
