Developing International Communication Competence in College English Education Practical Challenges and Strategic Solutions
摘要
Abstract
In the context of globalization,the cultivation of high-quality talents with international communication competence has become a pivotal objective in college English education.However,some deficiencies persist in teaching content,textbook compilation,teacher qualifications,and course evaluation systems.This paper therefore proposes the strategic solutions to address these challenges,which include:positioning"telling China's stories effectively"as a core starting point;cultivating national identity while expanding global perspectives as foundational pillars;strengthening language proficiency,cross-cultural communication skills,critical thinking capacity,and new media literacy as an integrated competency system;and innovating curriculum design with technology-enhanced pedagogical methods as the primary implementation strategy.关键词
