Recent research advances in the treatment of myopic foveoschisis
摘要
Abstract
In recent years,myopic foveoschisis(MF)has become a common complication in individuals with high my-opia,mainly due to the combination of the inward traction of vitreoretinal adhesions and the outward traction exerted on the retina by posterior scleral staphyloma.As one of the common complications of pathological myopia,MF seriously af-fects the vision of patients.The main surgical procedures for highly myopic patients with MF include vitrectomy,macular buckle,and posterior scleral reinforcement.However,there are still controversies about the need for internal limiting membrane peeling and gas tamponade.In addition to surgical treatment,drug treatment is also under continuous explora-tion.A variety of drugs have been used to improve visual function through different mechanisms.This paper summarizes the current treatment methods for patients with MF,in an attempt to provide reference for researchers.关键词
