Abstract

The heat transfer tubes of steam generator are the weak links in the primary circuit critical pressure boundary of the pressurized water reactor nuclear power plant.The system operating parameters during normal operation and accidents directly affect the integrity of the heat transfer tubes structure.To further study the structural response characteristics of heat transfer tubes,local models of the heat transfer tubes with two mainstream arrangement methods were established,and fluid-structure interaction calculations were carried out respectively under normal operation and typical accident parameters.Moreover,the load variation laws of the key parts of the heat transfer tubes under the combined action of the primary and secondary side fluids were obtained.The results show that the maximum equivalent stresses of the straight arrangement model under normal operation and loss of feed water accident parameters are 110 MPa and 143 MPa,while the cross arrangement model is 112 MPa and 146 MPa.Under the same flow conditions,the stress and deformation of the heat transfer tubes cross arrangement model are greater than those of the straight arrangement model.The equivalent stress at the root cross-section of the heat transfer tubes decreases first and then increases along the wall thickness direction,while the equivalent stress at the middle cross-section shows an approximate linear decrease along the wall thickness direction.In the root area of the heat transfer tube,the equivalent stress on the inner and outer walls first rapidly decreases and then rapidly increases along the axial height,followed by the formation of a stress plateau.The research results can provide a reference for the design and operation of the steam generator.
