摘要

Abstract

To address the challenges of ultrasonic testing for austenitic stainless steel welds,such as high detection difficulty and missed defects with single-probe methods,this study proposes a detection method based on ultrasonic phased array multi-mode total focusing imaging.By establishing a simulation model of austenitic stainless steel welds,the imaging effects under different modes were analyzed,and optimal imaging views were selected for image fusion.Experimental results demonstrate that the multi-mode total focusing imaging fusion method achieves full coverage of weld inspection,detecting side-drilled holes with 1 mm diameter and 20 mm length,with a lateral position deviation within 1 mm and high defect localization accuracy.Additionally,artifact signals related to defects are significantly reduced.This research provides critical theoretical foundations and technical support for ultrasonic testing of austenitic stainless steel welds,significantly improving the reliability and efficiency of engineering inspections.
