Abstract

In order to utilize flare gas from offshore platforms reasonably and reduce environmental pollution,relying on a flare gas recycling and utilization renovation project for a certain platform,the process flow of flare gas recovery has been studied,including the isolation method of flare gas,the control scheme for flare gas recovery,the selection of flare gas pressurization devices,and the uses of the recovered flare gas.In the flare gas recovery project of a certain platform in the South China Sea,the pressure control method is adopted for flare isolation,and all the flare gas can be recovered through online pressurization.For the recovery of flare gas on offshore platforms,the pressure control method should be prefer-entially selected for flare isolation,and factors such as the physical properties of the gas,the design flow rate,the exhaust pressure,and the avail-able space on the platform should be comprehensively considered.
