Abstract
The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence(AI)technology is profoundly reshaping the film industry.How to effectively integrate AI into the creation of interactive films to enrich their narrative approaches has emerged as a critical and urgently explored topic in contemporary filmmaking.This paper explores the creative pathways and significance of AI-powered interactive film production.It proposes a design workflow for AI-driven digital characters tailored to interactive sto-rytelling.Based on this workflow,an interactive film,Theater of Tomorrow,themed around theatrical performance,was de-veloped using Unreal Engine(UE)and the Convai character development platform.The effectiveness of the user experi-ence was evaluated through experimental methods.User experience analysis indicates that AI,compared to traditionally rigid and procedurally driven digital characters,enhances expressiveness in dialogue and emotion,significantly enriching audience interaction.The findings indicate that AI-driven interactive films not only introduce an innovative"infinitely no-madic"narrative form and a heightened sense of immersion,but also offer audiences greater freedom of interaction and provide creators with broader creative possibilities.关键词
