摘要

Abstract

In view of the poor product consistency and low production volume resulting from inadequate automation in the calibration process of RF radar level gauges,an automatic control system capable of five-point calibration is designed for manufacturers.In this control system,the PLC is employed as the core control unit,encompassing the automation upgrade and transformation of the existing manual calibration system.By controlling the movement of reflectors at various points by PLC,and realizing communication between the control system and the upper computer calibration system by PLC communication modules,the coordination between instrument readings and point control is completed.Additionally,in the system,a laser rangefinder with high precision and immunity to external electromagnetic interference is utilized to assist the calibration of RF radar level gauges.Whether the point control is correct or not is judged by reading the analog voltage transmitted by the laser rangefinder.Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed system not only enhances the standardization and accuracy of the calibration process for RF radar level gauges on the production line,but also increases the automation level of production line of the RF radar level gauge,further boosting production efficiency.
