Design of Photodetector Circuit for CBC System
摘要
Abstract
The photodetector cell is a crucial component in the coherent beam combining(CBC)light source system.Its performance parameters such as bandwidth,output signal swing,and output noise floor directly impact the quality of the synthesized beam in the optical power meter of the CBC system.Due to spatial constraints in CBC systems,commercial PD units have limitations in their applications.This paper proposes a PD unit simplified design based on the basic principle of photocurrent readout and mathematical models of photoelectric signal transmission and conversion.The circuit prototype is implemented using commercial components,and its performance is evaluated through simulations and experiments.The results demonstrate that the circuit can achieve a 1.48Vpp signal output swing at 640 MHz bandwidth with total integral noise better than 9×10-4Vrms.This design offers advantages such as a simple structure,easy to copy,and an uncomplicated method for performance optimization matching,making it highly applicable in CBC systems.关键词
