Abstract

The volatile components of the flowers,stems and leaves of Yucca gloriosa were analyzed and studied to provide scientific references for its subsequent application and development.The headspace solid-phase microextraction-gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(HS-SPME-GC-MS)method was used.Qualitative analysis was performed by retention index and comparison with standard spectral libraries,and quantitative a-nalysis was carried out by peak area normalization method.A total of 141 volatile components were identified from the flowers,stems and leaves of Yucca gloriosa.Among them,65 volatile components were identified in the flowers,105 volatile components were identified in the stems,and 69 volatile components were identified in the leaves.The types and contents of volatile components in different parts of Yucca gloriosa are differ-ent.Among them,the total proportion of olefin and alkane compounds is relatively large.In the flowers,8-heptadecene and heptadecane account for more than 60%of the total content,and the content of 8-heptadecene is close to 40%.In the stems,aldehydes,esters and olefins have the highest relative contents,with a total of 76%.In the leaves,alcohols,aldehydes and olefins are the main components,and the total relative con-tent is 79%.The components in each part have potential pharmacological effects such as anti-inflammation,cough relief,antibacterial and antitu-mor,providing a basis for the further development and utilization of Yucca gloriosa.
