Advances in the application of biostatistics in the field of intelligent healthcare

Abstract
Biostatistics is an instrumental discipline that applies statistical principles and methods to analyze and interpret biological,medical,and public health data.In recent years,with the rapid advancement of computer technology,the concept of intelligent healthcare has gained widespread acceptance.This article delves into the application of biostatistics in the field of intelligent healthcare.By reviewing the origins of artificial intelligence(AI)development,it systematically explores the intricate connections between biostatistics and AI,particularly machine learning(ML),in the realm of intelligent healthcare.It elucidates that the two are inherently interconnected,with biostatistics providing theoretical foundation and methodological support for AI applications in healthcare,ensuring the scientific rigor of AI model training and validation based on ML.Meanwhile,AI expands the scope and technical means of biostatistics.The development of AI models requires deep integration with biostatistical methods to fully uncover the latent information in clinical data,thereby advancing the clinical translation of AI-assisted tools across various aspects of intelligent healthcare.It is hoped that people will recognize that Al technology,supported by biostatistics,can jointly propel the medical industry toward a smarter and more precise direction,which will also influence the future research directions and collaboration models of medical professionals and biostatisticians.关键词
