积石山县肉牛及乳牛修蹄效果研究
Research on the Hoof Repair Effect of Beef and Dairy Cattle in Jishishan County
摘要
Abstract
This study focuses on the effect of hoof trimming on beef and dairy cattle in Jishishan County,Linxia Prefecture,Gansu Province.A survey was conducted on fattening cattle farms and dairy farms in Jishishan County.The effects of hoof trimming frequency on the body weight,daily weight gain,and milk production of fattening cattle were compared and analyzed by setting up one hoof trimming cattle herd,two hoof trimming cattle herd,and no hoof trimming cattle herd.The results showed that increasing the frequency of hoof trimming can increase milk production in dairy cows,especially in the mid to late lactation period.It can also reduce hoof disease and extend the lifespan of dairy cows.hoof trimming can also significantly increase the daily weight gain of fattening cows,thereby achieving the maximum slaughter weight.In the management of beef and dairy cattle breeding,2～4 times of hoof trimming per year can significantly increase milk production,prolong the lifespan of dairy cows,and increase daily weight gain of fattening cows.关键词
