Abstract
Objective To preliminarily evaluate the clinical value of MRI parameters in the surgical treat-ment effect of colorectal cancer patients.Methods A total of 107 colorectal cancer patients admitted to our hospital and the second Affiliated Hospital of Lanzhou University from September 2021 to May 2023 were selected as research participants,and all patients were diagnosed with colorectal cancer by pathological diagnosis.All patients underwent multimodal magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)examination.The MRI machine models were Siemens MR1.5T and PHILIPS MR3.0T,and Gd-DTPA was used as the scanning contrast agent.All patients underwent conventional functional mode T1WI,T2WI,and magnetic resonance diffusion-weighted imaging(DWI)scans first,and then DWI.The apparent diffusion coefficient(ADC)values of the diffusion sensitivity coefficient(b value,taking 200,500,800,and 1000 s/mm2)were obtained using the parallel acquisition planar echo sequence.According to the above imaging scan results,all includ-ed colorectal cancer patients were divided into 34 cases in the ineffective treatment group and 73 cases in the effective treatment group.The morphological changes,ADC values,and ROC curves of the two groups after treatment were compared.Results The lymph node diameter(S)and the ratio of lymph node di-ameter to short diameter(S/L value)in the ineffective treatment group were higher than those in the ef-fective treatment group(P＜0.05),and the ADC value was lower than that in the effective treatment group(P＜0.05).The receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve analysis results of the ineffective and effective treatment groups of colorectal cancer surgery showed that the optimal cut-off value of the ADC value for determining the ineffectiveness of colorectal cancer surgery was 0.96×10-3 mm2/s,the area under the curve(AUC)was 0.904,the sensitivity was 0.973,and the specificity was 0.921.The optimal cut-off value of the S value for determining the ineffectiveness of colorectal cancer surgery was 6.44 mm,the AUC was 0.805,the sensitivity was 0.845,and the specificity was 0.859.The optimal cut-off value of the L value for determining the ineffectiveness of colorectal cancer surgery was 11.03 mm,the AUC was 0.784,the sensitivity was 0.809,and the specificity was 0.757.The optimal cut-off value of the S/L value for determining the ineffectiveness of colorectal cancer surgery was 0.59,the AUC was 0.883,the sensitivi-ty was 0.860,and the specificity was 0.913.Conclusion MRI parameters have an ideal diagnostic value in evaluating the surgical treatment effect of colorectal cancer patients.Among them,the AUC of the ADC value for determining the ineffectiveness of colorectal cancer surgery is larger than that of the S value,L value,and S/L value,indicating that it has a strong differential diagnostic value for the treatment effect of colorectal cancer patients undergoing surgical operations.关键词
