Abstract

The experiment aims to explore the effect of adding a mixed feed additive to the feed of laying hens in the late stage of egg production on their production performance and egg quality.Select 95 910 healthy and similar sized Hailan brown laying hens from the same population and divide them into two groups,with 47 955 birds in each group.The control group was fed with basic feed,while the experimental group received an additional 2 g/kg of mixed feed additive added to the basic feed for 15 consecutive days.The results showed that adding calcium lactate and lysine salts to the feed significantly increased the average egg weight(P<0.05);The weight of unqualified eggs,average daily feed intake,and feed to egg ratio decreased by 1.59%,1.91%,and 1.39%,respectively;The protein height and Ha unit increased by 4.25%and 0.78%,respectively,but not significantly(P>0.05);Significantly improve eggshell strength(P<0.05);It can effectively improve the color of eggshells in the late stage of egg production,making them darker and brighter in color.Research has shown that adding calcium lactate and lysine salts to feed can improve the production performance and egg quality of Hailan brown laying hens in the late stage of egg laying,reduce the rate of unqualified eggs,improve eggshell color,and increase the economic benefits of breeders.
