Influencing Factors and Prevention Strategies of Bovine Respiratory Diseases

Abstract
Bovine respiratory diseases are a major problem faced by the cattle industry,which brings serious economic losses to the industry.The influencing factors are complex,including pathogenic infections,such as viruses,bacteria and parasites;Environmental factors,such as high feeding density,poor ventilation,unsuitable temperature and humidity,poor feed quality and transportation stress,reduce cattle immunity and increase the chance of pathogen transmission;Host factors,such as calves with an underdeveloped immune system,unvaccinated or immunized failure.Prevention and control strategies include scientific vaccination,considering a variety of factors to formulate a reasonable plan;Strengthen feeding management,build a good cattle house environment,provide high-quality feed,and strictly control personnel and vehicles;Implement biosecurity measures,strictly disinfect and harmlessly dispose of sick cattle carcasses,and isolate sick cattle in a timely manner;Rational treatment strategies should be adopted to select antimicrobial drugs according to pathogenic bacteria.The combined application of these strategies can effectively reduce the incidence and mortality of cattle respiratory diseases and promote the healthy development of the cattle industry.关键词
