Research progress on response to abiotic stress of Cucurbitaceae crops
摘要
Abstract
With the constant change of global climate,abiotic stressors are becoming increasingly detrimental in affecting plant growth.Cucurbitaceae crops are regulated by multiple abiotic stressors during the growth,affecting their normal growing development and metabolism,leading to yield reduction and quality decline.This review summarizes the re-sponses of Cucurbitaceae crops to major abiotic stressors such as drought,salinity,and low temperature.Meanwhile,it summarizes the progress in genomic research on Cucurbitaceae crops and the latest advances in the physiological effects of abiotic stressors on Cucurbitaceae crops.Further,the authors elucidate the molecular mechanisms of their responses to abiotic stressors,from perspectives of signal perception,signal transduction,gene expression regulation,and changes in important secondary metabolites.It provided reference for deeply research on strategies for enhancing resistance and yield of Cucurbitaceae crops.关键词
