Abstract
In recent years, the rising prevalence and life expectancy of people with diabetes have led to a steady rise in the inci-dence of diabetes-related musculoskeletal complications. The shoulder is one of the most frequently affected areas, with frozen shoul-der(FS)is the most common shoulder complication.Diabetic patients are five times more likely to develop frozen shoulder than non-diabetic patients, and the condition is characterized by an insidious onset,a prolonged course, and a high recurrence rate, all of which seriously affects patients' quality of life.Based on previous studies, this paper reviews the literature on pathogenesis, treatment, risk factors, intervention methods, and health education, aiming to provide a reference and theoretical basis for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of diabetic frozen shoulder. The findings suggest that when treating this condition, clinicians should consider the natural his-tory of the disease, related comorbidities, severity, and communication with the patient to develop a treatment strategy.A comprehen-sive treatment plan should be implemented, tailored to different stages of the disease and the underlying lesions, alongside stabilized blood glucose control.关键词
