摘要
Abstract
Surgery is an effective treatment for complex anal fistulas;however,it may lead to extensive surgical wounds,severe pain,and excessive wound exudate postoperatively.These complications prolong the healing period and hinder recovery,significantly affecting patients'physical and mental well-being as well as their quality of life.External treatments of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM),such as herbal ointments,herbal baths,ligation therapy,and moxibustion,play an increasingly important role in preventing postoperative wound infections,alleviating anal pain,and facilitating wound healing in patients with complex anal fistulas.There fore,this paper reviews the literature on the application of TCM-specific therapies in the healing for complex anal fistulas,and analyzes the efficacy and mechanisms of these external treatments in the postoperative management.The aim is to further promote the clinical use of TCM external therapies for postoperative care of complex anal fistulas.关键词
