三才调平针刺对围绝经期BPPV复位后残余症状的疗效观察
Effects of Sancai Tiaoping Acupuncture on Post-Reduction Residual Symptoms in BPPV in Perimenopausal Women

Abstract
Objective To report therapeutic effects of Sancai Tiaoping acupuncture on residual symptoms after manual reduction for benign paroxysmal positional vertigo(BPPV)in perimenopausal women.Methods From June 2023 to June 2024,82 perimenopausal patients(aged 45～55 years)with residual symptoms after successful reduction for BPPV who were admitted to the Department of Encephalopathy,Henan Provincial Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine were selected and randomly assigned to be treated with betahistine mesylate tablets and Kuntai capsules(control group,n=41)or betahistine mesylate tablets and Kuntai capsules combined with Sancai Tiaoping acupuncture(study group,n=41).The Dizziness Handicap Inventory(DHI)and Kupperman scale scores were compared between the two groups before and after treatment,in addition to clinical outcomes and recurrence rate.Results Post-treatment Kupperman and DHI scores were lower than those before treatment in both groups(P<0.05),with more improvement in the study group(P<0.05).After two courses of treatment,the rate of effectiveness was 97.5%for the study group and 92.7%for the control group,respectively(P<0.05).At the 2 months follow-up,the recurrence rate was significantly lower in the study group than in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Sancai Tiaoping acupuncture is effective in the treatment of BPPV in perimenopausal women and can alleviate residual symptoms after successful manual reduction for BPPV while improving perimenopausal symptoms.关键词
