择时耳部刮痧联合艾灸对老年功能性便秘患者的疗效观察
Therapeutic effect of timed ear Gua Sha combined with moxibustion on elderly patients with functional constipation

Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of timed ear Gua Sha combined with moxibustion on elderly patients with functional constipation(Yang-deficiency type).Methods 72 elderly patients with functional constipation(Yang-deficiency type)admitted to our hospital from June 2023 to August 2024 were enrolled and randomly divided into a control group(n=36)and an experimental group(n=36)using the random number table method.The control group received conventional constipation care,while the experimental group received timed ear Gua Sha combined with moxibustion intervention from 9 a.m.to 11 a.m.The treat-ment duration was the same for both groups.Constipation symptoms,TCM syndrome score and quality of life were assessed at baseline and two weeks after intervention.Results After 2 weeks of intervention,the scores of the Patient Assessment of Constipation Symp-toms(PAC-SYM),TCM syndrome score and Patient Assessment of Constipation Quality of Life(PAC-QOL)in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05).The total clinical effective rate in the experimental group was 97.22％,significantly higher than that in the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion Timed ear Gua Sha combined with moxibustion can ef-fectively alleviate clinical symptoms,improve quality of life,and achieve better clinical outcomes compared to conventional constipa-tion care in elderly patients with functional constipation(Yang-deficiency type).关键词
