Effects of Anesthesia Maintenance Protocols on Electrophysiological Auditory Indicators in Miniature Pigs

Abstract
Objective This study evaluates electrophysiological auditory indicators under different anesthesia maintenance protocols in miniature pigs,for selection of optimal anesthesia protocols in otology research with miniature pigs.Methods After induction using Zoletil+Xylazine,1.5%isoflurane,2%isoflurane or intravenous Zoletil+Xylazine were used for anesthesia maintenance.Electrophysiological auditory indicators were evaluated at the initial stage of anesthesia,and at 60 minutes and 180 minutes post-induction.Results Along with extension of anesthesia time,CAP N1 latency prolonged with 1.5%isoflurane inhalation;CAP N1 amplitudes increased with prolonged N1 latency at 2 kHz andⅠ-Ⅴintervals of ABRs to tone pips at 2 and 16 kHz prolonged with 2%isoflurane inhalation;with the Zoletil+Xylazine protocol,CAP N1 latency was prolonged with increased amplitudes at 8 kHz,as well as increased CM amplitude at 2 kHz,and ABR thresholds to tone pips at 16 kHz were elevated with prolonged ABRⅠ-Ⅴintervals.Conclusion Of the three anesthesia maintenance regimens,1.5%isoflurane inhalation does not affect ABR and CAP thresholds,with relatively minor impacts on other indicators,making it the optimal anesthesia maintenance regimen.关键词
