Abstract
Objective To explore the influence of health education under the guidance of Oren's self-care theory on postmenopausal patients with osteoporosis.Methods Ninety-eight postmenopausal osteoporosis patients admitted to Taizhou Hospital of Zhejiang Province from September 2022 to August 2024 were retrospectively analyzed.According to different ways of receiving health education,they were divided into routine group and Oren's self-care group,with 49 cases in each group.Health promotion behavior,limb function,ability of daily living,fear of falling,and risk of falling were compared between two groups.Results After intervention,the scores of all dimensions of health promotion behavior of patients in both groups were significantly higher than before intervention,limb function and daily living ability were significantly better than before intervention,and fear of falling and risk of falling were significantly lower than before intervention(P<0.05).The scores of all dimensions of health promotion behavior in Oren's self-care group were significantly higher than those in routine group,the limb function and daily living ability were significantly better than those in routine group,and fear of falling and risk of falling were significantly lower than those in routine group(P<0.05).Conclusion Health education under the guidance of Oren's self-care theory can promote postmenopausal osteoporosis patients to develop healthy behaviors,improve limb function,enhance daily living ability,effectively reduce the fear of falling and risk of falling.关键词
