Exploring Effect of Yishen Paidu Formula(益肾排毒方)Combined with Sanqi(Notoginseng Radix et Rhizoma)on Serum Leptin,Lipids,Oxidative Stress and Endothelial Function in Renal Failure Based on Theory of"Intestine-Kidney Axis"

Abstract
Objective To explore the effects of Yishen Paidu Formula(益肾排毒方)combined with Sanqi(Notoginseng Radix et Rhizoma)on serum leptin,blood lipids,oxidative stress and endothelial function in renal failure based on the theory of"intestine-kidney axis".Method A total of 60 cases of renal failure admitted to the traditional Chinese medicine and nephrology department of the hospital from June 2020 to June 2022 were selected as the research subjects.The patients in the control group received levocarnitine injection combined with compound α-ketonic acid tablets,and those in the experimental group combined Yishen Paidu Formula combined with Sanqi(Notoginseng Radix et Rhizoma)on this basis.The clinical efficacy,blood glucose,blood lipids,leptin,vascular endothelial function,oxidative stress indicators,inflammation indicators and safety were compared be-tween the two groups.Result Compared with the control group,the experimental group had a higher overall effective rate(P＜0.05).After treatment,the levels of serum fasting plasma glucose(FPG),total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),leptin,soluble intercellular adhesion molecule-1(sICAM-1),endothelin-1(ET-1),malondialdehyde(MDA),C-reactive protein(CRP),tumor crossing factor alpha(TNF-α)and interleukin-6(IL-6)were measured in the experimental and control groups de-creased compared to those before treatment,while the levels of superoxide dismutase(SOD)increased compared to those before treatment(P＜0.05).The experimental group had the levels of serum FPG,TC,TG,leptin,sICAM-1,ET-1,MDA,CRP,TNF-α and IL-6 were lower than those of the control group(P＜0.05),and the level of SOD was higher than that of the con-trol group(P＜0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups of drugs(P＞0.05).Conclusion Yishen Paidu Formula combined with Sanqi(Notoginseng Radix et Rhizoma)exert good thera-peutic effects on renal failure,and the improvement of its therapeutic effect may be closely related to the improvement of endothe-lial and oxidative stress functions.关键词
