Study on the Allelopathic Effect of Three Different Crop Water Extracts on Platycodon grandiflorum

Abstract
To explore the allelic effects of three different crop extracts on the seed germination and seedling growth of Platycodon grandiflorum,the water extraction method was adopted,and the effects of four con-centrations of 10,20,30 and 50 mg/mL set from Zea mays L.,Setaria italica var.germanica and Glycine max on the seed germination,seedling growth and physiological and biochemical indicators of Platycodon grandiflorum were studied.The results showed that extracts of the three crops had no inhibitory effect on the germination of Platycodon grandiflorum seeds at low concentrations,but showed a certain inhibitory effect at a concentration of 50 mg/mL.The aqueous extract of Glycine max straw had a significant promoting effect compared with the control at a concentration of 30 mg/mL,and its promoting effect on the root growth of Platycodon grandiflorum seedlings was greater than that of Zea mays L.and Setaria italica var.germanica.When the concentration of the water extract of Glycine max straw was 10,20 and 30 mg/mL,the MDA content of Platycodon grandiflorum seedlings was lower than ck and better than that of Zea mays L.,Setar-ia italica var.germanica treatments.The effects of water extracts of Zea mays L.,Setaria italica var.ger-manica and Glycine max stalks on the activities of SOD,POD and CAT in Platycodon grandiflorum seed-lings showed a trend of 'low promotion and high inhibition'.The treatment of Platycodon grandiflorum seed-lings with the aqueous extract of Zea mays stalks had the highest proline content at a concentration of 20 mg/mL.Under the treatment with a concentration of 30 mg/mL,the contents of soluble sugar and soluble pro-tein in Platycodon grandiflorum seedlings treated with Zea mays and Glycine max aqueous extracts were both relatively high.Zea mays,Setaria italica var.germanica and Glycine max could all be rotated,inter-cropped or relay-cropping with Platycodon grandiflorum.There was no significant inhibitory effect on the germination of Platycodon grandiflorum seeds and the growth of seedlings.Among them,the water-soaked solution of Glycine max straw had the strongest promoting effect,followed by the water-soaked solution of Zea mays straw,and the water-soaked solution of Setaria italica var.germanica straw had the weakest pro-moting effect.It was initially determined that Glycine max were more suitable crops for crop rotation,inter-cropping and relay cropping with Platycodon grandiflorum.关键词
