摘要

Abstract

[Objective]Returning Farmland to Forests is a important ecological construction project of China.Establishing soil health evaluation system,evaluating soil health with different vegetation restoration in black soil area of northeast China can provides data support for scientific evaluation of ecological benefits of returning farmland to forest.[Method]Field sampling and laboratory testing were used.The topsoil with different vegetation(pure larch plantation,mixed tree and shrub forest)were selected at the black soil region of northeast China as the object of study,the cultivated soil were treated as the control,and research the soil health of different vegetation by measuring soil physical,chemical and biological indexes.[Result]1)the soil bulk density of pure larch plantation and mixed forest decrease significantly by 14.28%-15.04%compared with the control,the saturation moisture capacity were significantly increased by 33.34%-59.84%compared with the control.The saturation moisture capacity of mixed forest was increased by 19.87%compared with the pure larch plantation;2)The content of soil total nitrogen,organic carbon and rapidly available potassium were significantly increased by 20.44%-29.16%,35.16%-38.28%and 85.58%-121.63%.The improvement of mixed forest on soil chemical properties was more significant;3)The soil microbial carbon and nitrogen contents of pure larch plantation and mixed forest were significantly increased by 105.95%-1 83.43%and 81.95%-142.43%compared with the control.The solid-sucrase activity of mixed forest was significantly increased by 55.46%compared with the control.4)The soil health score of the different vegetation was in the order of mixed forest(9.86 points)>pure larch plantation(6.97 points)>cultivated land(3.65 points).[Conclusion]To sum up,the soil health scores of pure forest and mixed forest were both significantly increased than control,the mixed forest had the highest score.After returning farmland to forest,the vegetation improved soil health mainly by improving soil water holding capacity and soil structural stability.In general,it is recommended to enrich the species of the vegetation when restore the soil,the mixed tree and shrub forest can be utilized to improve the soil health.
