摘要

Abstract

With the implementation of"the Belt and Road"Initiative(BRI),the Chinese government has been actively promoting the international dissemination of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)culture.However,one of the major challenges in this process is the shortage of interdisciplinary talents proficient in both TCM and less commonly taught languages(LCTLs).SWOT analysis was used,based on a literature review and survey data collected from 24 TCM universities,to examine the current status and trends in the training of"TCM+LCTLs"interdisciplinary talents.The analysis explores internal strengths and weaknesses,as well as external opportunities and threats.To address the identified weaknesses and threats,the study proposes the following optimization strategies for talent cultivation:enhancing training efforts under national policy guidance,breaking institutional barriers to promote multilingual education in public foreign language courses,developing a dual-teacher faculty team specializing in both TCM and LCTLs,optimizing teaching materials by compiling TCM textbooks in LCTLs,and leveraging information technology to advance curriculum development.
