Abstract
Objective To analyze the current application and research status of the CDIO teaching model in China's medical education field,quickly identify key literature,research teams,and institutions in this domain,understand current research hotspots and future development trends,and provide reference materials for achieving high-quality medical education and teaching.Methods Literature was sourced from China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),Wanfang Database,and VIP Database.Using"CDIO"as the research topic,all academic journal articles published in these three databases from their inception to August 16,2024,were retrieved.After preprocessing and screening the literature,Citespace 6.3.R1 software was used for visual analysis of the included studies,focusing on authors,institutions,keywords,and collaboration networks.Results A total of 319 Chinese-language articles were included.The overall publication trend showed a fluctuating upward trajectory,with a significant increase in recent years.The highest number of publications was recorded in 2023,reaching 58 articles.The most prolific author was Chen Rui from the Operating Room of Wuhan Central Hospital,affiliated with Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology,who focused on the application and effectiveness evaluation of the CDIO teaching model in clinical nursing and practical teaching.The most influential research institution was the School of Medical Information Engineering at Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.However,institutional distribution was scattered,and internal collaboration was lacking.Frequently occurring keywords in the literature included"teaching reform,""operating room,""teaching model,""training,"and"experimental teaching."Researches before published before 2015 primarily focused on teaching reform,teaching models,nursing students,practical teaching,training models,and effectiveness evaluation.Studies come out between 2015 and August,2024 shifted towards topics such as new nurses,faculty development,dental medicine,training,satisfaction,teaching management,new engineering disciplines,physiology,and obstetrics,forming ten major clusters.Conclusion The CDIO teaching model is gaining increasing attention in China's medical education field and has been recognized within the industry for its effectiveness.Its application is gradually expanding into sub-disciplines and subspecialties.While research authors and institutions are relatively concentrated,there is a lack of collaboration and interaction among them,and key positions and advantages within the field have yet to be established.Several research hotspots remain to be explored in depth.关键词
