Evidence and Principles of Acupuncture Increasing Live Birth Rate in Infertility Patients with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome
摘要
Abstract
Although an independent randomized controlled trial showed no difference between acupuncture and sham acu-puncture in the treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS)infertility,a comparison of historical data from evidence-based medicine trials shows that acupuncture can significantly increase the live birth rate in PCOS infertility.In response to the growing infertility problem,acupuncture is likely to be a good natural fertility treatment and should be promoted accordingly.Rational a-nalysis shows that acupuncture is a combination therapy with many influencing factors.The balloon theory can well explain the combination effect of multiple factors in acupuncture treatment,and quantitative effective analysis of acupuncture treatment for pain has provided precise data for various combination factors.Further understanding why acupuncture can significantly increase the live birth rate requires in-depth study of the principle of acupuncture's combination effect.关键词
