Abstract

Objective To analyze the development trend,characteristics,and hotspots of the teaching reform of the ancient Chinese medicine curriculum,and provide a reference for the subsequent teaching reform.Methods CiteSpace software and the bibliometrics approach were employed to visually analyze the teaching reform literature of ancient Chinese medicine retrieved from the CNKI database.Results From 1995 to 2024,238 pieces of literature on the teaching reform of ancient Chinese medicine were collected from the CNKI database.These documents mainly originated from undergraduate institutions and junior colleges,covering a broad range and involving a large number of scholars.Among the highly productive authors,strong teams have been established that can pass on knowledge and drive development.Nevertheless,communication and cooperation among different regions,institutions,and teams are relatively inadequate.Research keywords such as"teaching reform""teaching method""humanistic quality",and"curriculum ideology and politics"occur frequently,indicating that they hold the core position in the current teaching reform of ancient medical literature.Especially since 2020,"curriculum ideology and politics"has emerged as the research focus and hotspot of the teaching reform of ancient medical courses in recent years.Conclusion By using CiteSpace visual analysis tool,this paper systematically combs and analyzes the literature in the field of medical ancient literature teaching,reveals the research trends and hot topics in this field,and provides theoretical basis and practical guidance for the teaching research and teaching reform of medical ancient literature teaching.The development of the teaching of ancient medical literature in the future can be carried out from three aspects:consolidating the foundation of written documents,promoting the reform of teaching methods,and strengthening the construction of curriculum ideology and politics.Through strengthening the exchanges and cooperation among regions,institutions and authors,the innovation of teaching methods and teaching models will help to further improve the teaching quality of ancient Chinese medicine courses.
