Abstract
Objective To explore the application and effectiveness of the flipped classroom combined with the Sandwich teaching method in the standardized training of emergency resident physicians.Methods A total of 60 physicians undergoing standardized training in the emergency department of Dongzhimen Hospital,Beijing University of Chinese Medicine from September 2022 to July 2023 were selected as study participants.They were randomly divided into two groups,with 30 participants in each group.The observation group received training using the flipped classroom combined with the Sandwich teaching method,while the control group was taught using traditional lectures and clinical mentoring.The learning outcomes of both groups were evaluated through theoretical examinations,patient reception ability assessments,clinical skill tests,and a teaching satisfaction survey.Results The observation group outperformed the control group in theoretical knowledge,patient reception ability,and clinical skills.Additionally,physicians in the observation group reported higher satisfaction with the teaching approach and rated the teaching content,methods,and effectiveness more positively than those in the control group.However,no significant difference was observed in the teaching attitude between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The flipped classroom combined with the Sandwich teaching method can effectively enhance the quality of standardized training for emergency resident physicians and improve learning outcomes.It is worth promoting in clinical medical education.关键词
