Abstract
Objective To construct the refined nursing strategies for preterm infants based on stress adaptation theory and to investigate its application value. Methods A total of 104 preterm infants admitted to the East Branch of the Affiliated Hospital of Xuzhou Medical University from August 2021 to August 2023 were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group using a random number table method, with 52 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing, while the observation group received refined nursing strategies based on stress adaptation theory. The feeding effects, growth and development, intellectual and neurological development, and feeding intolerance rate between the two groups were compared. Results The observation group exhibited shorter time for gastric tube retention, total parenteral nutrition, and hospital stay compared to the control group, and the rate of feeding intolerance was lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After one month of intervention, the observation group demonstrated higher scores in body length, head circumference, and weight,as well as scores related to intellectual and neurological development in major motor skills, fine motor skills, adaptability, language, and social skills compared to the control group(P<0.05).Both groups showed an increase compared to the pre-intervention levels(P<0.05).Conclusion The construction of the refined nursing strategies for preterm infants based on stress adaptation theory can help improve the feeding effectiveness of preterm infants, promote their growth and intellectual development, and reduce the occurrence of feeding intolerance.关键词
