Abstract
In the post-industrial era,the fast-paced lifestyle and lack of social interaction have led to a collective sense of loneliness among the youth.Pets have become a means for the youth to compensate for social deficits and seek emotional connections.Consequently,this has driven an increased demand for pet-friendly design and services.This article analyzes pet-friendly spaces like the He Art Museum,Chengdu Raffles,Anaya Kennel Hotel,and the American Cosmo Dog Park,as well as pet-friendly product designs like IKEA's Lurviken,Xuewu cat litter pan,and MeowMate robot,emphasizing the importance of emotional interaction and harmonious coexistence between humans and pets,and the use of intelligent products.The article suggests that pet-friendly design should focus on safety,health,environmental friendliness,and sustainable development,supplementing the deficiencies in pet regulations and education,thereby providing a favorable environment for alleviating the loneliness of the youth.关键词
