Abstract
Objective To investigate the impact of structured health education combined with transitional care on postoperative functional rehabilitation in patients with intertrochanteric fracture of femur.Methods A total of 82 patients with intertrochanteric fracture of femur admitted to Zhongshan Chen Xinghai Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine from May 2021 to May 2024 were enrolled as the subjects of this study.Patients were randomly divided into two groups using a random number table method,with a control group(41 cases,receiving routine care)and a study group(41 cases,receiving structured health education and transitional care).The nursing care effect of the two groups were evaluated.Results The compliance scores for rehabilitation exercises in the study group were higher than those in the control group,and the total incidence of complications was lower in the study group(P<0.05).Compared to the control group,the study group exhibited lower scores on the Self-Rating Anxiety Scale and the Self-Rating Depression Scale at both discharge and 4 weeks after the discharge(P<0.05).and both groups showed lower scores on these scales compared to pre-surgery levels(P<0.05).Compared to the control group,the study group exhibited higher scores of the Harris Hip Scale,the Activities of Daily Living Scale,and the Barthel Index at 3 months after the discharge(P<0.05),with both groups showing higher scores at 1 and 3 months after the discharge than at discharge(P<0.05).Conclusion Structured health education combined with transitional care can improve the negative emotions,hip joint function,daily living activities,quality of life,and rehabilitation exercise compliance of the patients with intertrochanteric fracture of femur,and reduce the incidence of complications.关键词
