Abstract

To investigate the effects of foliar spraying with different concentrations of chitosan oligosaccharides on the growth and quality of strawberry."Akihime"strawberry was selected as the experimental material.A pot randomized block experiment was conducted,and different concentrations(50,100,150 and 200 mg/L)of chitosan oligosaccharides were sprayed on the leaves.To investigate the effects of chitosan ol-igosaccharides on the indicators of growth,physiological,quality and taste of strawberry,the plant height,stem thickness,leaf number,leaf area,biomass,root activity,relative chlorophyll content,soluble sugar,soluble protein,soluble VC,total phenols,anthocyanins,water con-tent,total sugar content,titratable acidity and sugar acid ratio were measured.The results showed that the growth,biomass,root activity,pho-tosynthetic efficiency,quality of strawberry,antioxidant capacity,sugar acid ratio and tastes were all increased when foliar spraying with suit-able concentrations of chitosan oligosaccharides on strawberry.However,the promotion effect with high concentrations of chitosan oligosaccha-rides was not significant,and might even have a certain inhibitory effect.Overall,foliar spraying of 100 mg/L chitosan oligosaccharides has the best effect on improving strawberry growth,yield,and quality.
