抛光程序对氧化锆半透明参数及表面形貌的影响
The effect of polishing procedures on the translucency parameter and surface morphology of zirconia

Abstract
Objective To investigate the effects of different polishing procedures on the properties of zirconia.Methods Six-ty-four disc specimens were fabricated using a CAD/CAM cutting machine and randomly divided into four groups(n=16).In the control group,the specimens were directly sintered after cutting without any treatment.In the post-sintering polishing group,the specimens were sintered and then polished using an EVE polishing kit.In the pre-sintering polishing group,the specimens were polished with a wool felt wheel before sintering.In the pre-and post-sintering polishing group,the specimens were polished be-fore sintering according to the method of the pre-sintering polishing group and then polished after sintering according to the method of the post-sintering polishing group.One disc specimen from each group was randomly selected for surface morphology observa-tion using a scanning electron microscope(SEM),while the remaining 15 specimens were used to measure the translucency pa-rameter(TP).Results The order of TP values was as follows:pre-sintering polishing group>pre-and post-sintering polishing group>control group>post-sintering polishing group.There was no significant difference between the pre-and post-sintering polishing group and the control group,while significant differences were observed between all other groups(P<0.05).At lower magnification,pre-sintering polishing was observed to reduce surface defects and impurities on the specimens,while post-sinte-ring polishing made the specimens smoother overall.At higher magnification,post-sintering polishing was found to make the specimens smoother but introduced fine defects,while pre-sintering polishing enhanced the ability of zirconia to resist defects.Conclusion Pre-sintering polishing can improve the translucency and defect resistance of zirconia.However,post-sintering pol-ishing reduces its translucency.The combined pre-and post-sintering polishing had no significant effect on TP.关键词
