Abstract
This study utilized the reanalysis data from the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts to investigate the evolution characteristics of water conservation capacity in the Danjiangkou Basin from 1981 to 2020,based on water balance method.Results indicated that there were significant changes in precipitation,evapotranspiration,and surface runoff within the Danjiangkou Basin,with precipitation and surface runoff showing a significant decreasing trend,while evapotranspiration exhibited a significant increasing trend,over the past four decades.Both the water conservation volume and the water conservation rate in the basin demonstrated a significant decreasing trend,with deceleration rates of 7.33 mm/a and 0.40%/a,respectively.Among the four seasons within a year,autumn contributed the most to the annual water conservation volume,while spring contributed the least.The findings can provide scientific reference for the management of water resources in the Danjiangkou Basin.关键词
