An Improved Weighted Neighborhood Rough Sets Attribute Reduction Algorithm and Its Application in Equipment Effectiveness Evaluation

Abstract
In traditional rough sets theory,the interdependencies among conditional attributes are not fully considered during execution of attribute reduction,which limits the theory's potential in uncovering the profound correlations between conditional attributes and decision attributes.Therefore,an improved weighted neighborhood rough sets attribute reduction algorithm is proposed.Firstly,the basic principles of the neighborhood rough sets attribute reduction algorithm are briefly analyzed,and a weighting strategy based on an improved Spearman's rank correlation coefficient is introduced.This strategy is utilized to enhance the analysis of the correlations among attributes within the weighted neighborhood rough sets.Subsequently,on such basis,an improved weighted neighborhood rough sets model for equipment effectiveness evaluation is constructed,a specific process for effectiveness evaluation is provided.The experiments conducted on sample data demonstrate that the proposed algorithm surpasses those of traditional methods in terms of attribute reduction efficiency and classification accuracy,thereby its practicality and effectiveness are reflected.关键词
