Abstract

Peanut planting area continues to expand to high latitudes,and its cold resistance has become the main limiting factor.It is very important to cultivate and screen cold tolerant peanut varie-ties.In this study,seven peanut varieties were sown in six stages at multiple test sites to identify their cold tolerance.The membership function analysis method was used to determine the suitable sowing date for cold tolerance.The membership function analysis and cluster analysis were carried out on sev-en traits of peanut seedling stage,including main stem height,lateral branch length,total branch number,full fruit number,seedling emergence rate,pod yield and relative pod yield.The cold toler-ance of peanut was divided into four grades:high tolerance,medium tolerance,low tolerance and in-tolerance.Four peanut varieties as Huayu33,Huayu910,Fenhua15 and Fenhua8 with high tolerance to cold were selected from the participating varieties,which provided identification and selection tech-niques and germplasm resources for the cultivation and screening of cold tolerant peanut varieties.The evaluation model of cold tolerance in peanut field was established by correlation analysis and linear re-gression analysis:Y=0.055+0.166μ(X1)+0.121μ(X2)+0.123μ(X3)+0.112μ(X4)+0.165μ(X5)+0.155μ(X6).The results provide a basis for the evaluation of cold tolerance of peanut in field.
