摘要

Abstract

A series of(24 kinds)non-noble metal oxide catalysts were prepared by a simple direct py-rolysis method,and their catalytic combustion activity of ethyl acetate(EA)and selectivity of inter-mediate products were evaluated.The results showed that transition metal oxides with variable va-lence ions exhibited the better EA conversion activity and CO2 selectivity,and CeO2 had the optimum activity;it could be seen from the temperature-concentration distribution curves that the process of catalytic combustion of EA was relatively complex,involving a variety of by-products and multi-step side reactions,but the two most important reactions were attributed to the hydrolysis of EA and the oxida-tion of by-products.Each intermediate product showed a different formation-disappearance character-istic over different oxides,which was related to the diversity of the structure properties on catalyst surfaces.The catalytic combustion of EA using different oxides in our study can provide guidance for the preparation and design of composite metal oxide catalysts with high activity and selectivity.
