Application of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation in children with autism spectrum disorder
摘要
Abstract
Autism spectrum disorder(ASD),characterized by social communication deficits and repetitive stereotyped behaviors,typically manifests in early childhood and represents a significant cause of intellectual disability in children.With the development of new medical technology,repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation(rTMS)is gradually being applied in the rehabilitation treatment of children with ASD and has become a research hotspot.The therapeutic efficacy and safety of rTMS are usually closely related to the selection of stimulation parameters.However,few current articles summarize the settings of the stimulation parameters of rTMS in the treatment of ASD in children.This article reviews the application of rTMS in children with ASD,the mechanism of treatment,and the selections of stimulation frequency,site,intensity,and coil type during treatment,in order to provide guidance for rTMS implementation in children with ASD.关键词
