Abstract
The effects of top comb tooth density and insertion depth on the quality of combed sliver and yarn were discussed.AFIS single fiber tester was used to test combed sliver,the effects of top comb tooth density and insertion depth on the comber noil rate,neps,short fiber content,fiber length distribution,yarn eveness CV,IPI value,breaking strength and occasional small yarn defects were analyzed.The experimental results showed when the insertion depth of the top comb was+1.1,the tooth density of the top comb had little effect on the combed noil rate.When the insertion depth of the top comb was shallower to+0.6,the higher the top comber tooth density,the better the removal efficiency of the top comb on comber neps.As the insertion depth of the top comb increased,the content of short fibers in the combed sliver was effectively reduced,while the content of medium length fibers and long fibers were effectively increased,but it could damage the ultra long fibers.When the top comb tooth density was 40 teeth/cm and the insertion depth was+1.1,JC 16 tex compact knitted yarn had better indicators.It is considered that the application of AFIS single fiber tester to optimize the top comb process can achieve the goal of reducing combed noil rate,stabilizing product quality and reducing yarn defects.关键词
