摘要

Abstract

To investigate the effect of different spinning forms on the softness of fabrics under low twist conditions,based on existing conventional ring spinning,siro spinning and siro compact spinning,by optimizing the quality of raw cotton and spinning process parameters,JC 14.8 tex low twist yarn with twist coefficient of 249 was prepared.The weft weaving performance,the thickness,compression,bending,fuzzing and pilling performance of double-sided weft knitted cotton fabric were tested and analyzed.The results showed that the strength of conventional ring spun low twist yarns decreased significantly,making it impossible to achieve subsequent weaving processing.Siro spinning and siro compact spinning low twist yarns could meet the subsequent processing needs,and the prepared fabrics were fluffy and soft.The fabric prepared by siro compact spinning low twist yarn could achieve better anti fuzzing and pilling performance.It is considered that low twist yarn has excellent fluffiness and softness.By selecting an appropriate spinning form without increasing production cost,the development of pure cotton ultra soft products can be achieved,providing a simple and feasible technical solution to meet the current consumer demand for pure cotton ultra soft products.
